Auchingarrich day 1 of 6 on M21S.

I had to make the decision to downgrade myself from m21E a month ago when my ankle was still swollen, still glad I did due to not being that fit currently.

I didn't see the start kite so ran a bit further and missed the nice route to number 1 with less climb and then I cut up the hill too late so looped back to it. Got number 5 badly wrong, ended up following the path east and not north - definitely a better routechoice I only saw later more straight.
Didn't really know where I was going to 9 but eventually found it, the next loop I got into it.
15 to 16 I got very stuck in dark green and then bashed my shin, this was enough to disorientate myself and lose my flow.
17 was annoying because I cut up early through the bracken expecting paths to have formed to my control, which they hadn't. My control was on a bracken free section with a bracken free edge, so I cut back and ran on the edge of the wood all the way and there was still bracken. The undergrowth had been mapped well otherwise, not sure what happened here.

Anyway definitley room for improvement, frustrating that after all that I came 5th by only 2 seconds which wouldn't have mattered on the elite, but on standard classes when its the sum of the finishing positions it matters more.
