Orienteering race (Middle) 52:04 [3] 6.87 km (7:35 / km) +131m 6:55 / km

Fun but very messy on a 1:4000 map. Felt decent through the wooded rockier sections by the end, but really struggled adjusting to the open stuff, including an unfortunate parallel error which looks rather textbook. Leg not bothering me whilst running but still did when i pressed it later. Not planning on running much this week.

Running 16:04 [2] 3.12 km (5:09 / km) +45m 4:48 / km
ahr:147 max:166

Bunned off parkrun because I was tired, so jogged over to Leeds Beckett fields for something along the lines of a couple of 10 minute tempo runs, but as I got there the outside of my lower right leg was hurting, right where I had the stress injury a year ago. Really not sure about this one so jogged back home. I think it's a muscle rather than the bone, but I'll give it rest in the next week to see how it recovers.

Running 1:30:56 [3] 19.47 km (4:40 / km) +376m 4:16 / km
ahr:163 max:181

Niceee, I always forget how good long runs are because I do them so infrequently. As long as I don't injure myself and don't develop any odd medical conditions this will definitely change. Felt good the whole way, left calf possibly a bit tight but nothing to worry about I don't think. Mostly off road and muddy, but did have to link parts on road.

Wednesday Nov 20 #

6 PM

Running 27:39 [3] 4.33 km (6:23 / km) +253m 4:57 / km
ahr:155 max:186

Hill reps up the middle of Woodhouse ridge, 1:55, 2:02, 2:01, 1:59 then 200m in 1:31 before I stopped due to poorly stomach (roughly 1:40 downhill recovery). Hill is approx 280m long and 50m climb. Had a break between reps 3 and 4 due to stomach, had planned to do 6 hills, that will be the aim for next time.

12 PM

Running 51:19 [3] 10.71 km (4:47 / km) +120m 4:32 / km
ahr:154 max:170

Over to temple newsam with a couple of work guys, felt quite fast and verging into dead running territory but my heart rate was quite low so it was probably alright.
