Note

The swelling went down to more comfortable levels in my left spiked foot after 2 or 3 days, but wearing my trainers was too painful because the sole pushes up into it - I've been wearing my flat road racing shoes which don't offer as much support for my right foot instead. No further reduction in swelling or pain in the last half a week though, it probably will take a while to heal which can only be expected. My right foot felt the best it has in a long time this week until I ran up and down steps barefoot, lot's of walking hasn't helped but I do at least think I'm getting closer to recovery now rather than in an uncertain suspended state. I was going to go for a bike ride today but tiredness hit me like a train mid afternoon.

Kayaking (Canoe) 53:24 [1] 3.41 km (15:40 / km)

With Hannah and Nick who for some reason believed this to be a relaxing afternoon activity rather than a great opportunity for some cross training, resulted in us going in circles a few times.

To the island in Lake Bled, warmer than a few days ago, chest felt very tight swimming on my front so I went on my back for most of it.
