Walking 1:08:29 [3] 9.47 km (7:14 / km) +139m 6:44 / km

8km pb, 57:17. Still got quite sweaty at 10pm, will try and do more of these again as it seems to be good base training.

Running 1:12:03 [3] 10.35 km (6:58 / km) +428m 5:46 / km

Making the most of being in Stockport earlier, a lovely couple of hills, the first surprisingly had no paths to the summit despite having a great view of Greater Manchester. Enjoying being able to walk whenever I fancy (unlike races).

Running 6:57 [3] 1.04 km (6:42 / km) +10m 6:23 / km

Orienteering 21:01 [4] 4.82 km (4:22 / km) +84m 4:01 / km

Another long sprint, was dead on my legs by the end. I lost 1:40 by being stupid and running left instead of right and off the map. The bits in the park were good, fast and furious and very difficult to keep up with directions. Foot alright but I could feel something above my ankle.

Cycling 1:01:47 [3] 17.25 km (16.8 kph) +219m

Having sorted my mtb chain, I realised that my back brake wasn't working, so my plan of going onto the high fells doing a loop incorporating BG leg 2 would have been a little foolish. As an alternative I headed out for this, an unvisited part of the lake district for me to attempt to walk up High Street up the ridge. Unfortunately though, my foot was hurting even on the cycle which never happens, and painful whilst walking, so I headed into the cool woods. It was a weird pain which hurt a lot when I tweaked it, but stopped after 5 or 10s. I'll have to come back and do the climb again, but Haweswater is lovely despite being a fake lake.

Across Blea Tarn and back, warmest natural place I've ever swum in the UK
