Orienteering race 37:20 [5] 6.14 km (6:05 / km) +150m 5:25 / km
shoes: NVII Forest 1

S6D 6 Grandtully - Really fun last course, quick area which mainly felt downhill. Vague terrain made for some fun legs but also some scrappy nav from me. Got very stuck in some green leaving 7 which lost me a minute or so.

Running (WD) 7:28 [2] 1.16 km (6:26 / km) +29m 5:43 / km
shoes: NVII Forest 1

Orienteering race 2:10:44 [5] 16.41 km (7:58 / km) +477m 6:57 / km
shoes: NVII Forest 1

S6D 5 Craig a Barns WRE - Relatively happy with this, majority of nav was ok. Messed up 2, 25 and 28 a bit but not horrendous. Just not fast enough over the distance and really had to focus on pacing myself. Really physical course with lots of climb and tough terrain.
2 PM

Running (WD) 1:12 [2] 0.18 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: NVII Forest 1

Orienteering race 1:25:58 [5] 13.76 km (6:15 / km) +359m 5:32 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 275

S6D 4 Culteuchar and Dron - Not my ideal area, arguably similar to Wales but was just too fast for me. Didn't struggle with the nav at all and got quite bored of the course at times, would have liked some more technical controls. At least it was a change from the past few days.

Running (WD) 11:27 [2] 2.02 km (5:40 / km) +22m 5:23 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 275

Note

Rest day, spectating the sprint. Took it easy to help my blisters heal a bit.

Orienteering race 46:45 [5] 5.75 km (8:08 / km) +181m 7:01 / km
shoes: NVII Forest 1

S6D 3 Dundurn WRE - Really happy with this race. Managed to nail the majority of the course until the final low vis section where a few legs were a bit shaky but held it together to the finish. Got some nasty blisters from the new shoes though, glad to have a rest day tomorrow.

Running (WD) 6:02 [2] 1.07 km (5:38 / km) +10m 5:23 / km
shoes: NVII Forest 1

Orienteering race 1:20:11 [5] 8.7 km (9:13 / km) +365m 7:37 / km
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212

S6D 2 Edinchip - Climb and distance based off course description so not accurate as watch battery died half way. Got round the first half of the course ok but then began to tire significantly which was not helped by disappearing into a marsh up to my chest on the way to 15... Managed to struggle to the finish, not my greatest race.
