RED January Day 19 - SYO Ramsley Moor.

Majority felt pretty good, felt distracted at times though and could definitely tell I haven't orienteered in over a month. Not too many mistakes, couple minor wobbles and dodgy routes. Did really mess up 4 and 16 though, both in the mega bog and green. I didn't really plan them or pay much attention which is why I went wrong, should have slowed down and used my compass. Think the ice cold, leg deep water put me off, also caused another mistake to 17 after getting very angry over 16. Overall, a strong race though and happy that I was physically strong over such tough terrain, just need to sharpen up my nav and I'm good to go.

Part II: Bouldering. Tried out the winter competition circuit, pretty fun, got some hard routes done. Also managed a climb on the comp wall so looking like the 'training' is paying off. Not really training for anything, just really enjoying bouldering and rediscovering my skills from when I was younger.

RED January Day 15 - Riv with a bolehill extension. Head torch died at the far end so had to make do with my phone torch, which was about as useful as the moon... Should really remember to charge it more often! Felt good though and was enjoyable enough.
