Northern Champs - M16 - 6th

Overall happy with my run. Fairly scrappy and hesitant, especially in the first half, but improved towards the end.

1-4: About 1 min lost from general hesitance and uneasiness through the terrain.
5: Not a bad route but hesitant going along the path until I saw the steams (~30s lost)
6: Went out of 5 in the wrong direction (~1min lost)
7: Not an entirely bad route but not planned. Ran blindly missing the path I was aiming for but the relocation fairly quickly (~30s lost)
8-14: Fine - where i caught my time on most people.
15: Too far to the right and got distracted by other big boulders. Need to trust my bearing(~1:30 lost)
16: Fine
17: No plan. Rushed out of the control and didn't know how far down the slope I was and got distracted by another control. Then found the boulder but was the wrong side of it so couldn't see the control. (~40s lost)
18 - Finish : Fine

Around 5 mins lost in total :/

Intercounties XC - 236th

Not a great run. Crazy start, went off too fast and almost got taken out a couple of times. Settled in but slowly started dropping away as I couldn't keep up with the pace. Dropped away on the hill as my legs tired. Bit of a grind from there to the end managing to just about keep my place.

Bit disappointing but not too worried as I haven't run for a week. Foot felt fine

Easy jog testing foot

Foot felt very good - no aches - for the first but then decided to do a longer stride. Foot slightly achy afterwards on the way home but nothing major. Ice rolled afterwards and no major foot pain/ aches.

Good paced swim - managed to get over 1k for once!

Walked there and back. Balls of get slightly sore but hardly noticeable. On the way back noticed that my left foot was over proning and arch was quite low when I looked at it. Tried to keep better fork for the rest of the walk and the pain went away.

Planning on round a tester run tommorow to see how the foot it then assess from there

Felt quite tired today - think I just need a bit more sleep

Had basketball in PE and foot was quite achy afterwards which was quite annoying. Alright after a bit of a massage and alright walking round the house.

Feeling a bit unmotivated with the tiredness and dodgy foot but hopefully both will improve with rest. Not sure about what I'll do at the weekend yet though
