HPPC 3000 champs - 10:08 PB

Was looking forward to this but after feeling pretty shit in the past few days I wasn't expecting much. Relatively quick field, only had to lap a few people near the end, but was running in my own for most of it. Started off controlled and went through 1k in 3:20. Lost concentration and starts looking at my watch to much in the middle section so dad caught me up then stuck with me through the 3:24 second k. Started moving away from him and kicked with ~600 to go to try and go sub 10 but couldn't quite get it.

Happy with it overall. Better than expected and made sure I kept a good form when I was suffering which I haven't done well before. Sub-10 incoming this season

Running 6:28 [2] 1.07 km (6:03 / km)
shoes: Asics Patriot 10

Drills warm up/down 6:19 [3] 0.74 km (8:32 / km)
shoes: Asics Patriot 10

L heel v tight and quite painful so wasn't much fun

Running (Race) 4:51 [5] 1.5 km (3:14 / km)
shoes: Adidas distancestar

HPPC 1500 B - 4:51

Wasn't expecting much. Went through 300 in 59 so knew my legs didn't have much in. Worked hard to get a decent lead but a guy caug t up with me ~60m to go. Good battle with him but couldn't keep with him when he kicked w/ 200 to go. Decent race and had more in my legs than expected

Running warm up/down 6:10 [2] 0.85 km (7:15 / km)
shoes: Asics Patriot 10
