Win Hill Reps hills 2:00 [5] *** 10.0 mi (12 / mi) +981m 9 / mi
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 300

Really gruelling Win Hill session in the rain with Nath, Lova and Patrick. Initial warm up rep settled in, then came the 3 efforts, pushing off independently on the last 1k up to the trig.
Was feeling pretty strong throughout, managed to sit just behind Nathan, and slip past him on the final rep.
Also completed the session with a very steep run/walk up the side of ladybower to kill off the legs.
Overall feeling much fitter than 2 weeks ago, feeling strong and optimistic ahead of Clough Head English champs- Ideal preparation regarding the intensity and climb.

Porter Summit 1:10 [3] ** 8.5 mi (8 / mi)

Easy porter summit with Nath. Felt pretty good throughout, despite the heavy dinner 30 minutes prior. Don't appear to be having any niggles or any potential injury problems so feeling good, despite the anxiety that something is going to happen.
Feel as though I'm neglecting stretching and rolling due to exam season and high mileage weeks leaving me feeling pretty tired.
Not necessarily targeted training for the upcoming clough head race, just clocking up easy miles to keep the legs turning over.

Headstone Rivelin long 2:30 [3] 16.0 mi (9 / mi)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 300

Early morning headed out to flagstones on not much food, and little sleep. Initially felt shite due to it being the morning. However, settled in around 3 miles in and felt good, started to lag slightly on the last section along the top-path and up the hills from rivelin. Topped of a very heavy ~75 mile week of running but felt reasonably good throughout, feel the fitness is coming back.
