after nice rest, legs felt strong and fresh - running felt easy, HR was low - cool day ~ 50F. Leaves are starting to turn in the park, sunny and beautiful scenery.

Long @ Middlesex Fells - lots of small losses of time in the circle (mostly under 30 sec), may be coming too fast into it, good effort, running wise felt strong, but not too fast yet. our course had only 1 control which had no trail running.

Tough course by Boris at Lynn Woods - lots of green. I never got the right second control, punched wrong bag ~ 100m away, DQ as a result, and later in the same area, running to #13 lost 5 min and on the way to 14 another min.

Traditional trail loop with Z-man in Lewis Morris Park, NJ. Nice run, mostly conversational pace, but hills felt hard. Went to Z-man's place after the run for nice dinner and card with Nadya, Valeriy and Z-man.

Boulder Dash Day 2 at Bear Brook SP in N.H. Controls #2 and # 3 killed my day today, lost ~15 min there, got better later, but most of controls involved navigation in the green gave me problems today, although I lost just! 5 minutes for the rest of the course - felt tired at the end, and that was expected, so did everybody. Great course and terrain, I would love to take another shot at it.

Started all together with Highlander - enjoyed it, was navigating well, but running slower than I am used to. Could not see last control on a trail run - spent 8 min. running back and forward, orienteering misses were small~ a min or two. Lower back was a little tight after finish, but for now I will take it, can not work on back strength yet.
