at Mount Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid: bunch of Flatlanders + Extension loops with Speedy, first skiing of the season, surprising snow. Snowing most of the time, bumpy ride, some bare spots, otherwise not too bad. Staying at Cascade, managed to score some of the favorite drinks (Glog) and food (Hoevenberger) there.
Met Orekhovs - Selectors there, surprise.
