◪ Orienteering race (Green-X Day 2) 47:48 [4] *** 6.63 km (7:13 / km) +177m 6:22 / km
spiked:10/11c shoes: Icebugs Spirit 2015

visibility was tougher today , little bigger hills made it slower, and it took me a little longer to get into race. By the end of fist long leg I finally wormed up mentally for it, and did quite well with minor miss on 7, and the only loss was 40 sec on 11. Control was placed on 30 cm high cairn (shell never be mapped), misshaped contours in the area and unmapped vegetation. Did damage control by going into circle slower than a proper map, in my opinion, would allow and stood, looking around for 20 sec until spotted the flag but not the feature. I will keep educating mappers and course setters, my guess it will never stop, as people are ignoring or not even reading governing documents. We must be much better map makers and course setters than the rest of the world, if we keep ignoring it from year to year, from map to map. I am guilty of it too.

trail run warm up/down 5:00 [4] 1.0 km (5:00 / km) +15m 4:39 / km
shoes: Icebugs Spirit 2015

sprint to start, lost a layer before getting to start, felt too warm in long sleeves at decent effort

◪ Orienteering race (Green-X Day 1) 46:28 [4] ** 7.36 km (6:19 / km) +149m 5:44 / km
spiked:13/13c shoes: Icebugs Spirit 2015

good visibility and runnability made it possible for great race effort and result, may be 40 sec of total hesitations, no errors.
