I dropped off Florence with Jo, Roy and Lewie for a play date and familiarisation session in preparation for her stay with them later this month over the WRC weekend.
I then ran home from Wright via Narrabundah Hill (which is nowhere near Narrabundah??), Cooleman Ridge and Mt Taylor. I opted for a slightly shorter, slightly faster long run and so avoided unnecessary convolutions and climbs. 52mins was run at an honest pace, with the rest not so honest. Narrabundah Hill and the bush strip connecting Cooleman and Mt Talyor were new for me, so that was nice, but on the whole it wasn't a riveting run and the new kangaroo fence along Mt Taylor meant I couldn't cross into the reserve for ages. Knees were sore by the end.

Not sure who we played but won 6-1. We were on one of the nasty Tuggeranong fields and I had my first slip (icing over?). Far out it stings, I wouldn't recommend it. Lyneham has three Olympic-standard fields and Tuggeranong has two fields which should be bull-dozed :s

On Isaacs Ridge - out along the flattish fire trail and halfway back doing 8 x 90/30s then headed up the hill to the southern high-point before following mt bike paths back down. Felt very rushed as had to get back in time for the Gazillion Bubbles Show.
