Orienteering race 1:21:50 [3] *** 11.91 km (6:52 / km)
20c

NOL long (9.9km course length) at Hill End again.
Started bright and early at 8.30 due to split starts. Came 6th, 8mins down. I really enjoyed the course, and could mostly read the detail on the 1:15000 scale map. Had some small misses (30-60secs) in the control circles of c6, c10, c14, and c19. Happy with my route choices on the longer legs. All in all pretty pleased, but also frustrated that my glute has been really painful for 4 months now and has stopped me doing intervals and long runs. The distance I ran today was the furthest I've run since November, before the injury!

Orienteering race 40:47 [4] *** 6.26 km (6:31 / km)

Aus Relay Champs at Hill End on "Dhuwugarra".
Ran first leg in a team with Kathie and Bun, my first time competing for the Canberra Cockatoos. We came 2nd which was nice!
I had a reasonable run although could have done c5 better near the end of the leg, and got confused near the last control (~40secs). Nice to still come back in the lead though :)

Running 25:00 [3] 4.88 km (5:07 / km)

Through Pearce/Chifley to Hindmarsh Dr then back along Melrose Dr with 8mins threshold before my glute got too sore to keep going.
