NOL Middle race near Cowra on "Wyangala Waters".
Fun rocky area but very steep! Had a good run and was super happy to take the win. Pretty clean, just ran to the wrong boulder at c10 (30secs) and c15 (20secs). Pushed hard physically when I could, but stopped to read the map when I needed to.
I was feeling confident before the start as I had found a marble on my warm-up jog. It's a well-known fact that finding a marble means good luck. I put it in my pocket and carried it around the course with me. At the end, I gave it to Florence but she then lost it :/

Orienteering 42:00 [3] *** 6.4 km (6:34 / km)

Narrabundah Hill teams relay. It was a mass start but Matt and I went one after the other, Matt doing the first two loops of ~2.5km and me doing the second two. The vegetation features were tricky to interpret but it was still fun to run on a new map. The weather was cold and very foggy, making it a memorable event!

I ran home from the event after changing into dry clothes. It was still so cold and foggy at midday!
