Australian Long Champs, Split Rock (near Cootamundra).
Was looking forward to running on this very cool rocky map, and the 1:15000 scale certainly added to the challenge. My run went fairly well, with only a 1min mistake on c10 where I drifted low and beyond the control, but relocated soon enough. I probably bumbled a little bit around the short controls 14-17. Happy to finish with no big mistakes, but running hard for 80mins was very tiring and I wasn't moving that quickly. Came 7th.

Oceania Sprint Champs, Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga.
Cautious but steady through the buildings for the first section, then found the terrain controls ok on the hill, except for a long hesitation near c14. Moved up from 15th to 6th in the terrain section which was nice. Then ok through the buildings again but lost my head for the last three controls and lost about 30secs, finishing in 9th. Really fun course and map, but wasn't moving very quickly having stopped regular training in July.
