Orienteering race (Course dist. 3.3km) 29:25 [4] *** 4.4 km (6:41 / km)

Hermann Wehner Tribute Event, Stromlo - new sprint scale map on top of the hill. Lots of fun! I was wearing sneakers as I thought we would mostly stay out of the bush but I was wrong! At least 50% of the course went through the terrain which was a fun challenge on a 1:3000. I was a bit offline on c11 and c14 in the same area - got confused by a broken fence to 11 and was too high on both. My biggest time loss though was trying to find the start triangle on the map. I stood at the start for a looong time trying to find it, oh dear.
Big thanks to Shannon, Rui and Kerryne for looking after Isabelle so I could run! :)

Lunchtime run, across Kings Bridge and around Parliament House, then back over Commonwealth Bridge.

Parked at Wanniassa Park & Ride and ran down to lake Tuggeranong for a lap (clockwise). Didn't notice my knee which was good.

After work - around Capital Hill then beside the lake to Kingston foreshore and back to the car in Barton. Small soreness still in right knee (outside bit).

Along Isaacs Ridge. It was a bit forced but I couldn't not run on a precious public holiday.
