Sunday Jun 9 #

11 AM

Running 34:00 [3] 6.63 km (5:08 / km)

Lap of Lake Tuggeranong with Isabelle in the pram. Spotted three rogainers (one solo, one pair) doing the 4hr virtual rogaine in the Tuggeranong area - this was the last official day for it).

Saturday Jun 8 #

Note
(sick)

Cold symptoms but not feeling toooo bad by the end of the day. Could I be getting off lightly with my first illness since the illness from hell last July?

Friday Jun 7 #

Note
(rest day)

Sore throat developed in the afternoon. Isabelle has been sick since Monday so not too surprising (and covid has been rife in the office lately).

Thursday Jun 6 #

1 PM

Running tempo 18:00 [5] 4.5 km (4:00 / km)

Lunchtime run around the central basin and Nara Peace Park with 2 x 9mins (2mins) aiming for 4mpk. I achieved this but it was harder than I was hoping (3.59 pace for the first then 4.01). Into some heavy rain for the first third of the run.

Running warm up/down 22:00 [3] 4.33 km (5:05 / km)

Wednesday Jun 5 #

1 PM

Running 32:00 [3] 6.22 km (5:09 / km)

Pram run with Isabelle around the central basin, anticlockwise which is really unusual for me but Isabelle requested a different run to last time and so changing the direction was the best I could do.

Tuesday Jun 4 #

1 PM

Running tempo 24:00 [4] 5.63 km (4:16 / km)

Tempo effort down the bikepath towards Woden and back.

Running warm up/down 18:00 [3] 3.55 km (5:04 / km)

Monday Jun 3 #

12 PM

Running 38:00 [3] 6.9 km (5:30 / km)

Lunch run, F-I-W-F on a rare working from home day. My 2nd day only WFH since work changed from compulsory WFH in December 2021 to get-your-arses-back-to-the-office in January 2022.
It was freezing out today, but I felt unpredictably good running.
