I'm pretty disappointed with that to be honest. Although I thought I had a better run than I had so realising now it wasn't so good does make me feel a bit better.

#1 - I think I was a little too cautious down the hill out the start, and then I was bit hesitant on the approach after crossing the river, didn't have a good enough picture of the contours (+0:12)
#2 - Strong compass, re-enterant was more of a pit
#3 - Misread the control placement, I was expecting it to be in the deeper re-entrant but it was actually in the smaller one beneath
#4 - I'm not quite sure how I've lost time here, I deliberately aimed off to the right to get the height from the re-enterant to the south of the control, but I wouldn't expect that to be much slower, maybe just needed to push harder up the hill (+0:16)
#5 - Going round the bottom of the hill was definitely the better route, good picture
#6 - Hit the depression with the crags on and knew I was there, should have gone around it the right rather than the left, should have turned more after going round to the left, felt like there were far more small depressions than mapped
#7 - Ok, but bearing a little far left
#8 - Good
#9 - Good
#10 - Good route choice and execution
#11 - Good, could see the control from a long way
#12 - Went up a bit too early to the bigger re-enterant
#13 - Ok, maybe sould have contoured round a bit more
#14 - Good
#15 - Good
#16 - Started very well with strong compass but just a bit of a lack of picture attacking the control, I was expecting a more obvious depression rather than a slope down to a smaller one, I don't think it helped that I'd seen the control before, I should have just stuck on the compass and I'd have hit it bang on
#17 - Again good approach but picture error in the circle.

Czech selection race sprint, 6th (+40s). Not the result I was hoping for but it was a bit of a mid run so not surprised. A couple execution errors and maybe some route choice as well but will have to wait for some analysis.

#4 - Left was 20m further than left then right
#7 - Right was 15m further and it was a bit rubbish running wise so probably lost about 10s
#9 - Missed the left turn at the building but then double back round to it rather than keeping going which was just a bit stupid.
#13 - Right was 10m shorter and better running
