10 minute stretch after jog

Decided it was time for a little jog to see how my achilles would cope. Kept my feet low to the ground to minimise stress. Felt a tiny twinge after about 1.75 miles on an incline so walked for a few metres until i was starting to go downhill again. Stopped for a little stretch to at the top of the village and then returned via the by-pass path. All in all, not too bad. Maybe a few park runs in September?

Ride to The Milk Churn at Rudgwick with Keith and Angie for a catch up as haven't seen them for over a year. Via Baynards loop. Lots of chatting along the way so pretty slow, they were on their e-bikes.

IOW Route 67
Nice day out cycling route 67 on IOW starting out from Ryde and heading clockwise on the route around the island. Light showers early on disappeared but the time we did the biggest hill climb of the day at Blackgang. Some lovely views up the west coast but it was very blustery. Bit of a pain getting round Cowes as the route seemed to have been changed because of Cowes week so lots of errors were made.
