With Jules. Bignor Hill CP, Great Down, The Plain (fp junction north of More Hill), ride to 6 fp junction of Stane St, fp up to Stubbs Wood / Upwaltham Hill, and back to Bignor CP. Bitterly cold heading into the wind.

Bucks Green, Tismans Common, Barnsfold Farmhouse, Halffurze Field, Loxwood Place Farm, Wey South Path. Sussex Border Path through Alfold Bars, Hope Rough, Ricky School, Hillhouse Lane to the Downs Link and back to Bucks Green. Not sure which is worse, ankle twisting solid rutted mud, or ankle twisting mushy mud. Sore toe and sore calf on right leg. Sunny and chilly but watched a lovely sunset over Blackdown from the high point on the SBP before joining the Downs Link.
