Depletion run - couldn't do till the afternoon as had to work in the forest so no food, just black coffee and water until I ran at about 4pm. It was pretty tough from especially in the last half hour but not as bad as yesterdays session. Was managing to hold the pace until watch died (I didn't plug it in properly last night so it got 30 mins charge whilst I was getting ready) and i kept pushing on after that although it was hurting. Legs in a mess at the end and didn't stop eating till I went to bed!

2hrs @7min mile pace - felt so much easier than last weeks 1.40 at least for the first hour and a half then got tough but I was able to hold it OK. my watch failed at 1.48 with 25.5k done and I just stuck with it. Got tougher and tougher in last half hour where I was really working to hold the pace that had been easy at the start and even in the middle. Ran from the cottage to the end of Glen affric through Cannich on a rainy but mild night. Legs tight at end but pleased to get through that session as it was one that had scared me on the schedule!

Hill sprints - felt really good and strong - enjoyed the run on a really nice evening.

Steady run - felt pretty tired from work and wasn't easy to get out the door - ran to the end of the hydro track and back.

First time I have done a fartlek session - it was really tough from the 3rd interval to the end but just got it done and kept pushing on all the way. A reasonable night last night helped as I din't feel quite as fatigued today.
