Running race (Wrekin Fell Race) 41:57 [5] **** 5.09 mi (8:14 / mi) +549m 6:10 / mi

First fell race of the year was a good one. 1st until half way up The Ercall, but dropped down to 7th just behind William Kay. Made some good overtakes down the first descent and stayed 6th until the Wrekin. Summiting Wrekin, I was 10th, but managed to make two overtakes on the descent to get myself to 8th. On the final climb made one last overtake to gain 7th. Finished about 100m-150m behind William Kay, so ended up 2nd m18. Overall, quite happy with the result. I wouldn't say I was running at 100% intensity and I was slacking slightly, but it was still good fun nevertheless.

Caradoc classic at the end of April should be a good race. Feeling strong. Time to sort out diet now.

Fartlek session to stretch legs before Wrekin fell race tomorrow. Felt strong, but tired initially, although later on, after legs had warmed up, I felt much better.

Final decided to increase the volume of air in rear shock on the big bike. What a difference! Felt so much quicker and more confident, although I still belive I should consider purchasing some contact lessons some time in the near future.

Feel quite healthy and strong lately, but I got a slight cold. It will be good to see how running is tomorrow at staffs and stoke O champs.

Got sick of revising for physics mock tommorow, so I decided to take Fly for a run. As I was getting ready to go Dad got home so he joined Fly and I on the run as well.

I decided to go for an easy, short run rather than a hard, long run. because I want some time to recover before Wrekin Fell race this Sunday. But I still felt strong and healthy so overall it was another good run.
