Wanted a faster go around the LMV. 4minutes ahead of Dan’s time from 2018 and only ~7 behind the record, so a good indicator that training is going quite well. Conditions were pretty nice, but so windy at the top that it blew out my contact lens. Some areas that need improving like uphill strength and just strength in general and showed I need 2 weeks of tapering for full recovery. Feel a bit heavy, but not going to bother going below 10/10.5st until races. Probably running at about 75% because of the lack of competitors and being unrecovered from the last 3x100mile weeks. Feel good, no injuries present and training is clearly working.
