Running race 1:19:19 [4] 9.11 mi (8:42 / mi) +932m 6:36 / mi

Cardington Cracker Fell Race. PB, sub 1:20, 2nd to Dan by not even 5 minutes and he was going for the record. Really brutal conditions with the wind and sloppy underfoot conditions. Happy with the result, but still a long way to go to where I want to be for the peak season. Wasn't expecting much with the focus being on building strength since October and doing no muscular endurance or power work, so felt strong but didn't have that bounce and endurance. Good confidence boost. Trig Race is the next goal, so time to get some real fitness, so I can try get my name on that bottle. Really feeling good at the moment and enjoying training, even I do keep getting colds.

Running warm up/down 40:00 [1] 3.0 mi (13:20 / mi)

Stretches, jog, strides, drills.

Running 13:00 [2] ***** 1.55 mi (8:23 / mi)
ahr:141 max:170

Physiology data collection MSFT. Decided to leave it at level 13 with racing at the weekend because I didn't want to destroy myself having a proper go. So it wasn't really a very valid test, but had been running on my own for the last 3 levels. Good get ~level16.5, but haven't got the agility after that. Definitely felt rough with cold so hopefully it's better for weekend. At least I will have a good immune system after January.
Some other interesting things from the data collection:
Body fat percentage: 7.1%
Height: 185m (6ft1)
Weight: 73kg (11.46stone)
Fat mass: 5.3kg (0.83 stone)
4.1mmol/L blood glucose at rest
10m sprint: 1.71s
Although, the accuracy of each test shouldn't be taken fully. Having a cold, eating breakfast an hour earlier, walking to uni all affected the blood glucose measure. All body fat testing is indirect, so can't take that too seriously, although it's a good base to see future fluctuations on the same machine (hydration can effect this a lot though.) Bleep test was only up to about 75% and 1 level off y11 PB at age 16 I think, weight was measured fully clothed. Always good to have more details though.

Note
(rest day)

Planned on doing 30minutes and then some drills, but had a bigger day of doing uni work and had a couple lectures so decided to leave it and let the legs have a complete day off for a change. Done a bit of walking though and just done 40minutes mobility, stretching and rolling, so not too lazy of a day.

Running 30:42 [1] 3.8 mi (8:05 / mi)
ahr:130 max:171 (rest day)

Mobility for 20minutes.
Treadmill recovery because it was cold and icy outside. Easy pace for 20minutes, then a fast 5minute at 4:50/mi, before 5minute easy again. just trying to keep form good and cadence right.
Stretches for 20minutes.
