Orienteering 50:17 [3] 4.12 km (12:12 / km)

London City Race - Greenwich - Walking

great place and some decent park orienteering. had more time to enjoy the views cos I was walking. Nav was pretty much meter perfect, so that's good :)

Knee quite painful no doubt after a lot of exercise (going all over London everyday as well as the orienteering). Just got to hope it will clear soon. Gonna do daily stretching and s&C (for the rest of the year??) from tmrw

Orienteering 39:57 [3] 4.83 km (8:16 / km)

London City Race - Ran 2km

Really fun well planned course and thanks to a bit of accidental recon with some mates at an architecture talk two nights ago, nav was perfect throughout the multi-level and covered sections, even when running and used control descriptions effectively which was great. Lovely weather too.

Knee was less good, but after two long days on my feet, was to be expected. Been hurting on stairs for the rest of the day. Right thing to run? Maybe, but it will be fine tmrw and is better than it had been, ran on the advice of the physio and honestly if id rested the previous days would have been fine. Won the M75+ so a really great day out ;)
5 PM

Orienteering 20:00 [3] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)

After some architecture visits wound up at Clapham common and proceeded to find the routegadget to do a bit of training. Some good woodland with mini contours and so many paths it was confusing, which served as decent practice and faired pretty well. Then got the bus in the wrong direction...

Orienteering 28:51 [3] 3.0 km (9:37 / km)

London City Race Middlesex Uni - Topped off a quality day in London with this. Route choice was all standard stuff apart from one underlevel bit that I missed. Basically you picked a direction and it was probably the same distance either way. Decent stuff and nice little sprint to finish. Aiming to run between 1-2km tmrw on the M75+ course at the Barbican ;) Should be good stuff.

Cycling - Spin 35:00 [3]

Super low resistance, just to test the knee. Absolutely fine. Maybe I'll do a bit more tmrw
7 PM

Strength and Conditioning 10:00 [3]

Half a glute and hip strength session. Feeling fine, more tmrw. Need to ease back into this and get some real consistency going
