Saturday Jul 27 #

6 PM

Biking 58:03 [1] 24.81 km (25.6 kph)
ahr:123 max:172

Easy bike to get the blood flowing and heart pumping. Feeling pretty good and excited for six days. Just a little niggle in the foot, so will assess tomorrow and decided to run or not. Will likely go out but perhaps a brisk walk would be better
7 PM

Running warm up/down 9:46 [1] 1.56 km (6:16 / km)
ahr:123 max:157

Easy warm down and test of the leg. Was feeling good. Tested it on soft moss and jiggled about and seemed good, on a hard sprint it soon becomes noticeable. But good progress.

Friday Jul 26 #

8 AM

Other (BBR) 33:44 [1] 2.64 km (12:47 / km)
ahr:112 max:147

Leg felt good on the run, easy going.
10 AM

Other 1:30:00 [1] 8.0 km (11:15 / km)

Out for an easy walk up hillifare. Foot was good, but half way started feeling strange in the nerves and bit twitchy, so took it easy on the down.

Thursday Jul 25 #

10 AM

Other (BBR) 28:53 [1] 2.14 km (13:30 / km)
ahr:100 max:150

Before Breakfast Routine. Started up as a way to prepare the body for the day and also focus on some injury prevention exercises. Motivation from Thierry's AP log.
15mins run
5 min leg exercises
5 min core
5 min yoga
4 PM

Biking 54:59 [4] 25.04 km (27.3 kph)
ahr:140 max:167

Nice bike ride around deeside, to inchmarlo, hill of banchory and back. Felt good for the foot, no pain, except in the saddle on this cranky old bike.
8 PM

Other (Yoga) 1:00:00 [1]

Yoga session with a whole mix, but mainly focussing on the legs and balance.

Tuesday Jul 23 #

12 PM

Other 53:13 [1] 5.05 km (10:32 / km)
ahr:92 max:126

A brisk walk in the forest, nice to get some movement and fresh air. Leg feeling ok, on the downs it can feel a little twitcy in the nerves. But much better than Sunday,

Sunday Jul 21 #

2 PM

Orienteering 27:24 [1] 5.2 km (5:16 / km)
ahr:131 max:151

Easy run to get some blood flow, the leg was not feeling great. I think I had over done it the day before in the terrain. Had to move to a fast walk pace for some of it. Bit annoyed, need to really rest this injury.
