Awesome tour out to the top of Argentiere glacier but clouded in early so had to head back. With the på and some other old boys who were a bit slow for my liking but good to get some movement in.

As I was feeling restless got myself a good workout in back up the switchbacks, aimed to get to the lift station (750m) up in an hour but was a bit over. Good goal for next time. Total round trip, bottom of lift, up and down again, 1:25. Next time will beat it. Conditions were horrible and wet. One skin cane half off because of wet.

Up to mont Joux near megeve. Follaix douche at the top (famous for its champagne showers) was an unexpected find.
Quite a long easy flat initially then some steeper climb near the top. Practiced up and down to keep with the group.

Practiced also breathing through my nose as much as possible. Read about it, In Scott Jureks book. Nose for breathing, mouth for eating. Train you to use the diaphragm to cobtrol the breath in, quite tough.
