A good warmup up and then relax a couple minutes before to let the mind chill out. Never pushed that hard and just tried to keep good technique and planning.
Overall satisfied with physical feeling good after. Although the hills were tough towards the end for sure. A lot of good route choices and was happy with most.
Some learnings
- terrain was positive even in green and not as climb heavy as first glance so I didn’t need to take long routes round especially the first patch of forest
- I could be more precise and definite on my bearings let me down a couple times especially in short legs when I felt they would be easy
- good planning of long legs and execution in general
- much time lost nearing the circle.brain perhaps turned off. Could use compass better here from edge feature.
