Bit of a dead leg plod with some guys in the sun. Took a little slip off the crags path coming down and tweaked right knee. Quite sore on the run home and not sure climbing in the evening helped. Think it'll be alright in a couple days

Doing the volcano run with Mikey. Tim joined for the seat. Made for a pleasant route as I hadn't done most of it before. Started off really misty and a bit of drizzle but soon turned into a hot sunny day. Shifting quite well on the hard ground and took the headland round the golf course to avoid as much road sections as possible. Had planned to stop and stock up on water at Aberlady and even bought some extra as it was quite hot out. Decided to go round Gullane again to go away from the road. Very nice area but the sand sapped our legs a bit. Mikey distracted, reminiscing on catching features route choices he'd once made, just about managed to keep going. Soon enough got to the last steep climb that was quite nice to walk. A quick break, water and photos before getting a move on the make the train to get back in time for Mikey's shift that evening. First time running Marathon distance and also 50km ticked off in one. A great day out and a great run.
