running 6:19 [3] 1.05 km (6:02 / km)
ahr:120 max:145

running (GT relays ) 33:48 [3] 6.41 km (5:16 / km) +222m 4:30 / km
ahr:156 max:199

Glen tanar relays (middle leg). Set off with a big lead from Wynn on first leg. Legs felt a bit stiff at first but got moving and horrible hill wasn’t as horrible as I thought it was gonna be, ran/hiked up it with some ease. Managed to gain some more time on 2nd, unfortunately Pete M on 3rd leg had other plans than just the 9km loop and went on a nice 12km long Sunday run, somehow ending up in the south deeside road. no hard feelings ;)
Maroc o training at cambus , went to meet E and dad before lunch at Spider in a bicycle, 3 cakes between two was well deserved me thinks.

Saturday Jan 18 #

9 AM

running (Lochnagar ) 3:00:53 [3] 20.05 km (9:01 / km) +848m 7:27 / km
ahr:159 max:191

First time up lochnagar, with Jon, Katie, Peter, Marie and Roger. Super icy, very much regretted not wearing dobbs, my inov8 Trailtalon’s only just manage to it up/down. Windy but perfect clear skies, amazing views. Should’ve brought our skis, fair bit of snow up there.
Braved the icy dip in loch Muick with Jon, only 2/6, poor show if you ask me from ME, PH, RC and KH.

Friday Jan 17 #

6 PM

running (Home ) 28:53 [3] 5.24 km (5:31 / km) +48m 5:16 / km
ahr:150 max:177

Quick 5 across the road to the river . Remembered my head torch this time. A little bit spooky near the water station buildings, freaked myself out, probably an obvious increase In pace.

orienteering (Euoc urban ) 28:05 [3] 4.93 km (5:42 / km) +34m 5:30 / km
ahr:147 max:180

Pollock urban training. Forgot a head torch (“there’s street lights, it’ll be fine”) . Wasn’t fine , couldn’t see map (which disintegrated in the rain). Big thanks to Mairi for letting me follow her round :)) .
