surprised with how kind euoc had been with this urban, no sneaky uncrossable walls or multi level / underpass / tunnels / scale changes etc. like last year. Pleased with my nav, no issues with route choice all seemed fairly obvious. felt fast and good whole way round, ran under the 12km estimated optimum route :))
sadly was all to be a big fail. apparently I'm a retard and can't check codes so miss punched 3rd last control (33) thne proceeded to run right past my actual control on the way to my next one. makes the 12km seem pretty pointless but overall pretty chuffed with it. only a minute behind Pippa c too !!!!!

both bailed on fight with the night, was getting late so just went for a wee run instead. headed up via assembly and the start to the top of Carlton hill for some spectating and good views. half a sandwich each for lunch made for a speedy run back to the flat for a big bowl of pasta.

Canal with Zoe. Met in the middle then into west end for the classic Botanics and kelvin. Leggies feeling sore from gym lol . Was going for 5km but got carried away clearly. Recovery pace.
