Solo Sunday trip into the hills . Crazy weather , started in T-shirt and shorts in the baking sun , minutes later all layers on in a blizzard , then sun , snow , rain , wind etc . Had to keep stopping to change layers to prevent overheating / frostbite . Up the first climb up to the side of the Slacks then over and up little Duncolm , middle Duncolm and big Duncolm hill . Nice fresh powdery snow and sun was out at this point , so lush , was loving it :))) needed a sledge for some of the steeper descents. Then a grim 3 k treck through low marshland in a blizzard with icy toes to Cochno hill , then quickly down and back up to the slacks.
Small world , as I was heading down bumped into Spongy (AM) , nice wee chat , ran back down to the car park and even got a lift back into Glasgow , saves a train ticket :))

Muddy, wet and windy one. Luke's first time up along the canal and Kelvin. Not the nicest of first impressions, dark and wading though muddy puddles up to ankles.
knee is doing a lot better, scab has nearly healed, still can't really bend when wearing jeans but when running is fine, no pain from bruising or scab moving anymore.

catching the last bit of daylight for a spin about the Green with Luke and John. nice wee catch up. gym lad John couldn't hack more than 5km so bailed, L and I carried on along the Clyde and through the hydro red tunnel. calves a bit tight, calls for some perfect 10 stretches me thinks...

pitch black seat lap then across to the meadows for a nice street lit lap w/ F after his ints. regretted only taking trail shoes for the weekend, not fun on all that concrete. knee still bothering me from my fall the other week, scab just isn't healing as its right on my knee cap so constantly moving. running in shorts is best for it but just a bit nippy in the wind.
