Fave route up Meikle tap to the mast then took the lower track to craigrath and back on the high track and down the way the hill race goes up. Had 4K to go and decided to try get under 2hrs after kinda doddling at the start. Kind wrecked myself on the down hill but felt great to be at almost race pace again ahah lols. Was a fun way to spend my morning , 10/10 views with thick fog, felt like I was in a cloud. Knees were a sore on downhills and Achilles on up but nothing too bad (2/10 probably for both)
Poor garmin 235 on its last legs :(( kept freezing and pausing then not starting again for ages

Found a kinda sandy but mainly rocky beach bit but not really ideal for swimming when the water doesn’t go higher than your knees lol

Garmin update- still not really working, had to use Finns trace again as mine wouldn’t even start :(( rip

Was a bit of a scramble on the slippy rocks for the first couple km. Out the top of the burn and right at the power lines towards redburn.
“Oh it probably won’t even be 5km this route” - turns out I have bad distance judgement.
Garmin is acting up :( been lagging and freezing for the last couple runs
