Springtime in Shropshire, Stapeley and Rorrington.
Did not enjoy this one bit. Despite most of the area being super runnable, I didn't spend much time running due to my current complete inability to travel uphill. I swear this planner must be a psychopath because some of these legs were really unnecessarily nasty, but I won't complain too much as some people got around the course in very respectable times, so maybe I was suffering disproportionately.
Did manage to take the big win over David Dunn though, which we love to see

Slow spin over Long Mynd and surrounding hills with Dad, post O race. Thoroughly enjoyed the climb and the roads along the top and very glad to go down Asterton Bank instead of up it, don't think the 40/28 would have got me up what must be 600m at 20%. The little lanes after this were a bit too gravelly really and we both got punctures which was a shame.

Certainly glad I brought the bike because I couldn't justify coming all the way to Shropshire just for one of the most unpleasant O races of my life.
