BUCS xc B race - 71st.
The most fun I've had in a race for a while, really nice varied course on the Killing Fields, with firm sections, mud and some really windy straights.
Went off pretty controlled, worked through the first lap and felt good in the second, running with Max and Spudnik. Made a move on the last lap but got hung out to dry in the wind by Max, so ended up just behind him.
Pleasantly surprised with the performance, perhaps I'm somehow in ok shape after all.
Note: got pumped by Anna Moller but beat all the other women (Inc. Jess Judd :0 )

Feeling stronger than last week already, think it takes a session to get into the flow of hill reps. Same as last week, 5x3min (3min), 4x30s (2min)
Unfortunately the combination of no headtorch and no grip on my shoes made me look a right knob on several occasions. Rep 2 defo needed some Benny Hill music to complete the performance.
