Trek to the start with some walking as well

Birnam Hill
Lovely area, shocking run
Ended up getting to the start and starting straight away as a bit of a confusion with my start time

Running warm up/down 8:34 [3] 1.38 km (6:12 / km)

Warm down, then had to go all the way back up to the start to help take it down

First 600 was pretty chill, the rest were hard

Up to Dykedale. Had to alter the route slightly due to a cow and the now ploughed field.

Tuesday Mar 26 #

7 short sharp hill reps (roughly 150m long) with recovery jogs back down inbetween

Sunday Mar 24 #

Knee was feeling pretty dogey up to the start. Kept on feeling like it needed to click, same as the day before.

orienteering race (Hampsfell Selection Race) 30:58 [3] 4.27 km (7:15 / km)

Everything was going well until #13. I knew i had to be careful to #12 so when it came to #13 i wasnt fully focussed and my plan was not very accurate. Ended up losing a minute and a bit. On #14 i also lost around the same ammount of time as me and a few others ended up on a very similar feature to the one the control was on, but a bit over to the left. Need to keep focussing and fully concentrate until the very end. Enjoyed the area though and didnt feel my knee when running:)
