A noicee forest, and enjoyable run for the most part. Was being pretttyyy scrappy in a lot of the earlier control circles, especially #5. No too big mistakes until #10 where I seemed to take ages getting out of the control, then kinda got confused and ended up doing quite a slow route and was ages down on that leg. #11 was frustrating cos I knew I was on the right hill but didnt quite go far enough, shoulda looked at the description saying it was on the end of the hill. Getting v tired by this point, and so on #12 checked a wee rocky hill just above my control which was wrong and then came down into it.

Physically was moving slowwllyy, but was to be expected. Apart from the sprint, was pleasantly surprised by the results despite current fitness levels. Obviously a long way to go physically but hopefully a summer of training can happen :):)

Did not feel 100% after any of the races but biggest running week in a while so will take that.

Not all that bad, was cautious off the start but considering terrain couldnt go much faster anyways. Was a bit distracted leaving #2 thinking I was leaving #1 but noticed pretty quick, and wasnt too bad a route choice. Came too left to #5 and ended up getting an extra control on a hill way too early so bigger time loss there but relocated pretty fast. On #14 I went on top of the hill when it was below, letting some 18s overtake me, another lack of reading descriptions. In the end seemed like a lot of people were making mistakes so time wise didnt end up too far down, and quite enjoyed the course.
