V unfocused because Benny was on the start but got into the map easily, was planning 2-4 controls ahead which is a bit risky. V slow and ploddy and must admit walked a wee section but nav was fine so happy.

Note

Spent 4 hours on the side of the road clearing rubbish as part of a strike against climate change. So rewarding having people honking their horns and waving at us. Collected two shopping trolleys, the front of a car and 50 bin bags of plastic between 3 of us. Managed to do a good 5k so not going to run today.

Decided to give long run a miss as calf still unhappy, has a few holes and bruises on it from miss judging springing over pine trees. Did a nice interval session on the bike in the loft, way more fun. Might do run tomorrow if the climate strike has finished in time.

4X 300m hard, 100m jog, 200m hard, 200m walk slowly.
Felt good probably because of the long rest. Back to normal 300m pace which is cool. Right calf quite tight and ouchy think from compensating knee bother.

Quick leg loosener with a map which had a course that had been very hastily planned. Me and dad met 300 scary sheep with green eyes that decided to chase us. Don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to see a gate before.
