Jircs relay 3rd leg W18 ~ 2nd on leg
In a team with Hannah and Ellie who came in (7th?). Combination of being sent out pretty far off and having no expectations of myself meant felt no pressure at all. Had a really good run, caught ellie by #7 then Scottish by #9. Had no clue of place but knew hadn’t made any big mistakes and was feeling okay. Passed some more then went for it on the last couple of controls as knew people were close and ended up coming in 3rd.

JIRCS individual- nicht gut
Very interesting run as by #3 map was rubbing off. Then for the techy bit until #9 just ran round randomly trying to find the controls from my control descriptions and rough directions. Then luckily Anna started behind me and her map wasn’t quite as bad so trundled around. Stopped at spectator to ask for a map as the whole loop had peeled off and was blank but wasn’t allowed so another guessing game and following elephant tracks. Nice course though:) and loved the weather.

Back at the track. 9 x 300m with v easy recovery.
Didn’t pause watch on recovery. Happy with times as very consistent and not too far off times I was getting last time arvester the track (3 months ago). Back for good now.
