JHI relays 1st.
Not really feeling it at the start after a very minimal warm up and the Scots were looking scary but went out and quickly realised that Rachel B and Anna H had same first control. Got to it first then we all went too far up the hill and had to turn back which meant we were a bit off the leading pack.

After a bit of gaffling through the hilly technical part which left me running solo I headed into a control on a cliff. As I came out of the control Pippa, Rachel and Caitlin came down the hill and realised I was in the lead for a brief moment:)

Headed into the vague slope with the two Scots in sight and Caitlin just in front. After messing around a bit I thought the Scots had got it and run off so went a bit higher and stumbled across the control. Shouted down to caitlin and then Anna came in too. Headed off and Caitlin shouted 'Go up' so we all trundled up the hill.

Paced it along the track. Then we got stuck in head high bracken to #9 and Anna caught us up.
Really happy for England 1 2 3 :)))

Wore a huge puffer cuz I’m bad at temperatures.
Tuesday night recovery run with club and helping tommy do 1 min on/off. Good fun but right calf ceased up and is really sore so rolling and hoping for the best.
