beck wythop galoppen!!!!!!! so happy to be back orienteering omg

started off not very well, super heathery so was slow going and also messed up #2, saw a control and just ran to it?? silly me but nothing awful. after that just more heather to contend with but really starting enjoying it from 5 onwards. way too high at 10, didn’t register how many contours it actually was and ended up too high and traipsing through more heather when the line to the control was much nicer running. after that was all lovely lovely and enjoyed being in the forest too but was definitely struggling a bit physically, just got to accept that things are going to feel hard for a bit and push through this. but overall a solid run out and just SO happy to be back orienteering and running faster!!! onwards to next week with 4 orienteering events lined up :))

been a long few months. so stressful so tiring so all consuming, everyone said it was going to be one of the hardest academic things i ever do and that was properly true. in need of the biggest mental rest possible!!! probably going to feel a bit weird for a while with the lack of revision. super excited for summer though and will finally stop complaining on my ap now

proper training resumes tomorrow
