Ran home from town and decided to go by feel on this run, tried not to put much load into my back, running much more freely than Saturday so can but work on the stretches, hopefully can get a decent time at Inverness then again look at Manchester

Started off with easy 4 miles then worked up to steady pace for the last 4, james had loosened off the left lower side of my back, everything had gone tight down through the hammy and into the calf, got 3 stretches to do daily and hourly while I’m at work !! Pray for G’s legs that they will make Manchester

Left leg better than the other day but still not 100%, comfortable at an easy pace!! Leg didn’t like strides on the path so went into grass where the pain eased off, Physio with JC tomorrow so hopefully back in shape for my long run at the weekend!

Good solid start to this run but in the latter stages my left leg tightened up at the back of the knee, finished the session in not to much discomfort, on nightshift left leg was pretty sore, put it down to my body trying derail my marathon again!!

Easy 4 after 3rd dayshift, legs were ok but I knew they’d worked hard the night before!
