Running race (Inverness Half) 1:28:03 [5] 13.14 mi (6:42 / mi)

Had a good strong start to the race, weather conditions were very changeable during the race, mile 9 beat me up a bit heading into the wind then same in mile 13 but everyone was in the same boat, had a few aches and pains during the race but managed them, all in very happy with the result and getting stronger before Manchester! More core work and stretch but it’s looking more positive

Running 15:06 [2] 2.03 mi (7:26 / mi)

Purchased a pair of Ultra Boosts today to see if more cushioning will take the pressure away from my lower back, James thought the ons were good but not enough cushion for the long runs and marathon and possibly the issues were coming from there, felt good on this run
6 PM

Running warm up/down (2easy warm up) 16:12 [1] 2.05 mi (7:54 / mi)

2 mile warm up, legs feeling better, back loosening off but can still feel a bit of tightness

Running intervals (12x1min on 30 secs off) 17:54 [5] 2.67 mi (6:42 / mi)

Legs felt pretty good throughout the session, can still feel some tightness down the left side of my back, left leg felt pretty fatigued after this session, JC said that’s the leg starting to work again rather than just compress, hopefully the start of better things to come again
7 PM

Running warm up/down 26:50 [2] 3.43 mi (7:49 / mi)

Had an extended cool down after the hard interval session, legs felt pretty tired by the end but glad I managed to get it all done, plenty stretching to be done
