Friday Aug 1

Down to the UM in the midday heat to play some tennis. Really hot and muggy....too much of a warm-up for tennis.

Lost 6-2, 6-2 to Turbo. Felt good off the start but made lots of errors throughout. Wish I played tennis more often.

Meet @ Kilcona. Easy course and no troubles except a slight hesitation from 3-4. Tough running in spots through the thistles and high grass over the top. Didn't have much left towards the end.

R leg not an issue surprisingly. Ice sure helps:)

Walked 18 holes today @ River Oaks. Not going to count as training but hauling around a 50lbs bag for 4 hours can't hurt. Played poor:(

Humid, and warm night for soccer. The team was ready to play, and we ended up winning 3-1. Scores on a header finally (slight touch) off a nice pass across from Wilson. Rfoot was kicked hard towards the end...kinda sore.

Hurt my R ankle/lower leg in soccer. Toke a pretty good kick from an opponent, definetly on purpose. Was going to do the whole soccer dive thing but resisted. Achilles in pretty sore and a nasty bruise in front. If not for the shin-guard I would of had a broken leg.

Through Garden city W to Maples and back around. Felt cramps off the start and with the humidity felt like ass. Need to give myself more time after eating before I run. Especially in this heat.

Sunday Jul 27

Evening trip around West K. Through the park, then N, down Murray Rd then south again. 4 x 1:00 hard burst throughout, mostly in the last half. These felt great and my legs held up.
