Got to the swimming pool half an hour before it opened by mistake! Anyway only had enough time for 30mins as had to get into uni for 9 so did 200m swimming and 100m kick warm up, 2x200m and then 4x100m. Was supposed to be intervals but wasn't very focused so just easy.

Did the exercises - bit bored. Saw Dave Rowland today about them and had some improvements to make with using my abs more to get the correct muscle. Upgrades to some of the exercises as well so now doing one leg exercises instead of two leg.

Static bike in the gym, level 9 and 100RPM for the intervals. Did 4x5mins with 2min rest inbetween. Really hard work, so much harder than the last time - which I don't understand (maybe my perception of the difficulty is not very good or maybe jsut tired legs from the conditioning yesterday). anyway, definately lost fitness on the bike in the last month - maybe I'm training all wrong?

Ian Eisentragers gym session, medicine ball exercises, tyre exercises and boxercise (which I was rubbish at). All good except in the warm up where did jogging on the spot and made my knee sore. The exercises on the tyres probably weren't the best either.

Static bike, level 9 RPM 80 ish, though it was a different bike to last time so may have been easier. Easy cycle - legs felt quite heavy and tired though. steady.

Physio exercises, so boring still. need to get some new ones.

Nice and relaxing and good to get back to it and getting some control work and stretches in again. Still can't do the pike position with straight leg as knee too painful.

Finally decided to go and suss out the new swimming pool, managed to find it which was good. Really felt the effects of not swimming the past 3 weeks. My arms were quite weak and definately felt tougher than before. Did 1.3km lengths of breaststroke and front crawl and then the remainder using the board/float and just kicking my legs. Quite tough but a pretty nice pool.
