70’ easy
Up north in Helmsdale today. Ran mainly on road to keep this flat although did also take in some trails and a jog around the Highland games route... still fairly minimal elevation all in all.
No issues with the coccyx and feeling good. Pretty sure it must’ve just been bruising which has now subsided.

A good easy hour from the house. Mixture of canal path and undulating trail. No issues again which is good. Legs feeling fresh and good

Another easy run and all good. Kept it all comfortable but probably closer to the upper end of easy. No issues with the coccyx. I think that massage earlier in the week really helped move things along

Easy
Some more easy running on undulating trails. The best I’ve felt since Creag Dubh. Actually feeling pretty much back to normal running wise. A slight bit of tenderness on the coccyx still but only notice it if pressure is applied to the area. Didn’t notice it running for the first time since the fall

Easy 30’
Another 30’ and still feeling ok. Still a bit of tenderness on the coccyx but this seems to be reducing each day and doesn’t seem to be affecting easy running.

Sports massage
Released a lot of tightness particularly around lower back, plus some work on glutes and hamstrings

Monday Aug 12 #

Felt some improvement today so tried a run. Still a bit tender on the coccyx but felt ok to be running easy. Hopefully heading in the right direction

Still no real improvement. Tried some swimming though which seems ok. Will see the chiro this week
