Two Breweries
A race of two halves. A steady start before hitting the first climb with a big group of 15/20 of us all together. The group started to split on this first climb and I struggled to keep touch with the leaders. Started to slip back through the field and thought it was going to be one of those days! Passed the halfway check point in what must've been about 15th before really kicking on. Enjoyed the second half a lot more, feeling good and gradually working my way back through the field. Started cramping on the final climb of the day which hindered progress a bit. Caught 5th and 6th on the last descent but the cramp really hit my right calf for the run in on the road... very almost took 6th but lost out in another sprint finish with Robert Simpson. Happy enough with the run, especially the 2nd half and with it being the longest thing i've done since Arrochar.

A good stakeout post drive to Edinburgh. Stopped here enroute to the borders. Looking forward to racing tomorrow!

Fairly comfortable pace and moving along well. Enjoy these moderate runs. Legs feeling quite fresh, sub consciously not wanting to push the pace too much more with 2 Breweries coming up

Ran these on a good trail so moving a fair bit faster than when I've done them on the Ben path before. First two were the most consistent, legs feeling it during the last one. Easy jog down between each. Good session

Easy run in Glen Coe with Sarah and Camille who were up for the skyline weekend. Showed them a good loop through the 'lost valley' and up onto Bidean nam Bian. Very easy pace, hiking the rougher more technical uphills. Wet and cold on the tops so no hanging about. Generally feeling quite good
