Hiking 4:30:00 [1]

Headed south towards Crianlarich to avoid the worst of the weather. Good hike up Ben a Chroin. A bit slow going with the snow and ice higher up; had planned to do another munro too but it was incredibly windy on the tops and the storm was rapidly approaching so seemed sensible to retreat.

Feeling quite tired and took a bit of time to get the legs going. Definitely feeling the missed hill sessions from last month. First couple of reps felt a bit of a struggle but improved with the session and last 2 not so bad

Nice easy run, feeling quite tired and a bit of tightness in itb’s. Hill sprints felt good though. Trying to arrange a massage but proving difficult to fit it in around work

An improvement on the last couple of moderate runs but still felt less comfortable than it should have. Perhaps should have eased the pace a bit so more comfortable. Legs started to feel tired during last 20’

Mainly all road with 8x diagonals on the football pitch. Feeling good for the most part but still had to stop a couple of times mid run with that slight cough causing a bit of irritation again

Winter League- Puggy line
The hardest I’ve pushed myself in a run in a long time, since last race in December anyway. Felt like a struggle from start to finish. I think the illness has really taken its toll.
Just about held on for 2nd behind Finlay who took the win. Felt like there wasn’t much in the legs though and felt like the chest was still holding me back too. Perhaps to be expected after being ill for so long. Hopefully some fitness will start to return over the coming weeks.
Still got a very slight cough which comes and goes
