A good blast up and down Ben Loyal - another new hill in the bag. A bit of boggy trail to start and finish with a rough final climb to the summit which made for a bit of power hiking here. Wasn’t hanging around as had arranged to meet Rob for a cycle after.
No fuelling for the run

Some new trails near work. Nice and undulating. Felt a bit of tightness in right hammy initially but seemed to ease off with the run. 6 strides to finish.

Easy + strides
Some easy plodding with Fraser on some new trails. Ended up slightly longer than planned after taking a wrong turn.. All very comfortable though, legs feeling good

Legs starting to feel a bit more back to normal. Still not totally fresh but surprised how well they were turning over, all very comfortable on the flat

Short spin after work. Quads still noticeable heavy but otherwise no issues. Lots of walking at work today too which helped loosen the legs up

Weather was far too good for a complete rest day! A quick stop in the Cairngorms on the way back to Inverness for an easy plod over Ben Macdui and Cairngorm with Kirsty and Sam. Mostly hiking with a bit of jogging on some flatter sections. Some soreness in the quads after yesterday but on the whole not too bad. Legs definitely felt better for it.
